Reflexology and More by Karla is a new small business out of Langenberg, SK. Karla offers a variety of services including nails, waxing, messages, and reflexology in a very private and peaceful studio.

Products that Karla Carries
One of Karla’s goals was to have the products in her shop that range on their prices. Personally, I never bother to look at products in studios since the prices are usually too high for my budget. But Karla carries higher end more expensive products and very affordable Manitoba made products – that’s only a few dollars off from any product you can buy at the big box store – except the products Karla stocks are not filled with unneeded chemicals. She actively searches for Canadian products that are well made.

Another one of my favourite things she carries are her Improper teas – these are vegan, ethically sourced, gluten and sugar free, and have no artificial colours. The goofy names make perfect unserious gifts – and the tea is packaged and shipped out of Toronto, Ontario. Chai me a river – is my personal favourite. Calm the F down – is a green tea with lemon and sage (perfect for the winter cold season) and Men are morons – a black tea with notes of toasted caramel.

Since I’ve seen the many bars of colourful soap stocked in her studio – I’ve really been tempted to grab one, but for any homemade bar of soap I’ve boughten has always been over $15 – so it’s definitely a splurge item for me. But these big bars of soap sell for $7 (which is a total steal!) Below are a few bars that I didn’t take home, but was really tempted too.

Old Soul Soap Company is a company out of Ontario that creates small batch soaps in a wide variety of scents. Lemongrass, cedarwood, coffee Scrub, himalayan Salt, lavender, and vanilla bean are just a few scents that Karla carries.

I’ve been going to Karla to get my nails done for a few months – and every month she has discounts on different services, which makes her services even more affordable and really opens the door to try new services at an extremely well price.

An upcoming event in Karla’s Studio…
Karla was so gracious to host an event I’m planning in her studio. My first pop up art gallery, featuring Langenberg, SK’s own Hazel Werle. The first 12 people who stop by get a goodie bag (and trust me you want to take one of these home).
