Solving the isolation problem for independent artists in rural areas by giving them access to organized educational workshops and articles, community forums to ask questions, and direct person-to-person connection — all in one place. The knowledge of these workshops and courses are built by musicians for musicians.

THE RHUBARB ROOTS | GROWTH

Kolby is a twenty-three-year-old folk singer-songwriter who spends her free time touring around Western Canada sharing her music and writing poems. She started writing songs about birds since she was four years old and now has nineteen years of writing and ten years of playing guitar under her belt. She’s been a professional musician for the last two years and has been growing her career for the past eight years.

Fully online guitar and songwriting lessons – flexible scheduling – no commitment, come for one or come for twenty.

Having trouble finding a gig? We’ve all been there. Want to plan a tour but don’t know where to start? I’ve been there too! It takes time and patience getting booked so let me do the behind the scenes booking so you can enjoy and focus on the live music.

My experience: Eight years independently booking shows for myself – mainly across Western Canada, but I am confident I can book your shows across Canada and the USA.

4. I’ll reach out to you with your offers from the venues and pass along the contact information from there.

There are a lot of little things that go into your creative career, some can be time consuming others a little awkward to do yourself. For any loose end that you need help tying, reach out and we can make something work.

Poetry, writing, and art curated by me, wine drunk. A new creative project, giving artists a small platform to share their work and giving me a reason to try a bunch of different wines.

Published on the Rhubarb Rambling Studio’s Instagram once a week, alongside a wine review of whatever I choose to drink that week. (The fun part is I don’t know anything about wine).

Kolby Clunas created the Rhubarb Rambling Studio to help rural and indie artists. She started her music career at fifteen and had to navigate and learn all the ins and outs of growing a creative career herself – Rhubarb Rambling Studio is here so you don’t have too.

Rhubarb Rambling Studio is not going to make anyone famous, but it could be a step towards having a successful creative career while having a regular life. The behind the scenes of starting and maintaining a creative career are time consuming, and you don’t need to do them alone. Between the Rhubarb Patch Community for free accessible workshops, the services the studio provides, and the weekly publishing for artists.
